Morning in Aesthetica

Sometimes you wake me up
In the cold morning air,
Snuggle under the sheet with me,
Rubbing your head against mine.
Nuka nuka, my mini-me
Rolling into my arms,
Your yellow ice cream pajamas
Melting into my skin.
The rosy rays grace your face
Through trees outside my window,
Where the sunlight's patience
Draws your lips into a smile.
Soft morning alpenglow
Crowning the purple sunrise,
Holding you close
Inside the rising light.
