Christmas Eve With My Soul Mate in New York

The bells are ringing all night in Little Italy,
The protesters are camping out at Zuccotti.
So let's have a snazzy Manhattan pizza,
Crafted by the finest chefs on this side of the Atlantic,
Who twirl the dough on their fingertips
Like Harlem Globetrotters spinning basketballs
Or the hand of God wobbling the Earth on its axis
Beneath the custard smile of the moon.
Someday we'll go there,
Where the Creator and the Joker showoff their tricks.
