The way I see it is, the higher the dimension the more space gets integrated. In order for infinite geometry to really make sense it has to revolve around on itself in a circular pattern. When you think about what Einstein proved in general relativity, that gravity curves all the space around it, you have to think to yourself that the more dimensions are added, the more space collapses and reverts itself back to simplistic geometry. I don't know how many dimensions there are, but whatever the last one is is probably approaching a circle that's been "fractalized" by all the dimensions below it. And since a circle is really just a curved line, it's closer to the first dimension than say, the fourth dimension.
This applies to metaphysics in that thoughts can be accessed anywhere in the universe. Our brains transmit thought-waves that travel through the universe at the speed of light into infinite. (Incidentally, ever since I've discovered that our brains are transmitters/receivers of EM information I've reasoned that perhaps my random fantastical visions do in fact exist in outer space and not solely in the astral realm.) The waves travel through all dimensions uniformly, but the reason they can be accessed on the astral plane is that the higher dimensions curve space and create "quantum memory files". That means that the waves collapse and are preserved on the higher dimensional planes. I might even be nuts enough to say that each successive dimension after the third is correlated to the different metaphysical planes (astral plane/dreaming = 4-dimensional experience, mental plane = 5-dimensional experience, buddhic = 6th dimension, etc). That's saying that each dimension has it's own quantum frequency, but I'm not entirely sure, it's just my latest crackpot theory. Maybe String Theory can finally decode the relationship between thought and quantum physics. Physicists need to stop underestimating the power of consciousness in order to understand all this.
